- Groom and style pets according to client specifications and breed standards - Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur to maintain their hygiene and appearance - Clip nails, clean ears, and perform other grooming tasks as needed - Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process - Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a pet groomer or completion of a pet grooming program is required - Knowledge of different breeds, grooming techniques, and equipment - Ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments - Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners and address their grooming requests - Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy animals if necessary Note:
Experience with pet sitting or working in a kennel can be beneficial but is not required for this position.
